Painter, draftsman and printmaker, Bill is known for his lively and luminous abstract geometrically based paintings, which are meant to be thoughtfully ambiguous and aesthetically provocative.  His art works are part of museum and private collections around the world as are several commissioned pieces for universities and public projects. Conlon recently retired as Professor of Visual Arts, Fordham University in New York City, where he works during the winter months in his Soho studio then moves during the summers to his island studio in Portland, Maine.
